PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE.
You agree that by using this website, you are at least 18 years of age, or visiting under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and legally able to enter into a contract.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically. We reserve the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice to you.
Overview: Note from Christy
Everything shared on this website is my opinion and/or the opinion of our guest authors only. I am not a doctor or lawyer, or a movie star pretending to be one, and I do not offer medical advice. As such, anything I write is purely based on my own experience and is not a substitute for medical advice. YOU SHOULD GET MEDICAL ADVICE FROM A COMPETENT PROFESSIONAL WHEN NEEDED. In the event our guest author is a qualified medical professional, their advice is implemented in a generalized format and may not apply to your situation. Please do not substitute their article for a consultation with your own doctor.
Who I am is a wife and mother of two young adults and all four of us live with physical and mental health issues on the daily. I have spent over two decades parenting through all manner of life’s greatest tragedies and continue to face each day with optimism, gratitude and the desire to help others. I am passionate about helping others through storytelling and supportive communication for I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child. You are not alone.
Everything on this website was created by me (unless noted otherwise) and I most likely wrote it in a hypomanic or mixed episode state. Please understand if I fall into a depressed state I may miss a weekly post. Please respect that everything I’ve created (articles, graphics, images, downloads, etc.) on this website took much time, effort and research (often to the tune of 12 hour days) and may not be reproduced in any way without permission. Photos may not be used without permission.
I am truly grateful when you share my posts and information with your family and friends as you are what makes this tribe at Wayward Inspiration so special. I welcome links to my articles and shares on social media but do not allow reprinting of my articles (or any excerpts longer than 10% as Google doesn’t like it and it tanks your SEO. Resist!)
I offer digital content for sale on this website (as well as free downloads) and also use affiliate links in many posts. For the purpose of disclosure, please assume that all links are affiliate links. What does this mean? You can read more details on my Affiliate Disclosure page but basically, if you make a purchase through an affiliate link I will earn a small commission (at no additional cost to you, the consumer) and this helps me keep up with the costs of software, hosting, security and updates of the website. *Thank You*
Are you still with me? If so then you know by now I am a real person behind the screen, as are the readers and commenters on Wayward Inspiration, and we are looking to uplift one another on our daily journey. The guiding principle of “An it harm none, do what ye will” rules this site and as such, disagreement that can be posted in a respectful and civil manner is welcome but disrespectful, hurtful or negative vibes, in general, will result in you being banned from the site. I will not accept bullying from anyone. I hated the mean girls in high school and I have no tolerance for the ones who grew up and get meaner. Move along sister.
To reiterate my first paragraph, you also agree that by using WaywardInspiration.com you will not use any of the opinions expressed here to constitute medical advice or to treat, prevent, or cure any disease. You’re smarter than that. If you take any of this information at face value, without the supervision of a medical professional, then the consequences of karma (including disability, injury, death or loss of your sense of humor) are completely on you. I assume no responsibility for ignorance.
If you are into details, I’ve got the full terms and conditions, policies, and disclosures governing the website listed below.
